Solar Sox Updates-10/23

Today the Solar Sox fell to the Peroia Saugaros, 11-10.

Red Sox prospect Chris Provace was handed the loss. Sox prospect Luis Exposito homered along with Twins prospect Chris Parmelee.

Tomorrow they take on the Surprise Rafters with Red Sox pitcher Randor Bierd will pitch.


Solar Sox Update- 10/22

Today the Solar Sox take on the Scottsdale Scorpians at 2:35 EST.  Cubs prospect Andrew Cashner takes the mound. He is 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA.

Last night the Solar Sox won 5-4, with Angels prospect Tommy Mendoza got the win.

Cubs prospect Starlin Castro leads Mesa in hitting with a .522 BAA.

Red Sox prospect Ryan Kalish leads the team in RBI with 6.

Cubs prospect Blake Parker leads the Solar Sox and AFL with a 0.00 ERA.

The Solar Sox are 3-5 and last in the AFL East, 3.0 games behind the divison leading Phoenix Desert Dogs.

Solar Sox Update- 10/17

First off, Stephan Strasburg made his AFL debut yesterday, and he impressed going 3 1/3 innings giving up two hits and no runs.

The Mesa Solar Sox play the Peroia Saguaros, and The Marlin’s Andrew Miller will get the start.

Last night Mesa lost to the Surprise Rafters, Andrew Cashner of the Cubs got the loss.
